It was a meeting of (and for) two high-jump-protagonists: Carlo Thränhardt (M55, GER) and Thomas Zacharias (M65, GER)  that Carlo Thränhardt bettered his own world record in high jump by one centimetre (now: 1,88 m).

At that meeting (http://www.leichtathletik.de/results/5701_130517_sinn.pdf) in Sinn (Germany).

During the 1980's he achieved personal life time bests of 2.42m indoors and 2.37 outdoors.
